The Great Siege Game URL

After several months of development, polishing and exchanging ideas with many great players, reviewers and sponsors, we are finally able to release The Great Siege on Newgrounds.

The game features a great combination of impressive defense gameplay, sharp graphics, competitive balance and immersive theme music. The building system in the game pays tribute to Heroes of Might and Magic, one of my personal favorite, while the battle system includes elements such as the catapult, tank transformation, and traps that make the gameplay more interactive without being overwhelmingly complex. The Great Siege is generally a very simple game but it has a depth of strategy that embraces many possibilities.

it was my great pleasure to work with Selcuk and his group on the original music score for The Great Siege. The amount of time they've put into the works and the creative energy and inspiration they brought into this game through their music are incredible. Every music track is not only perfectly fitting to the game's theme, but also elevates the atmosphere of the game to another level.

Above all, I really hope you guys will enjoy this game.

Let's keep PLAYING and keep in touch.

After a long period of production for an English version release, the Monkey King! is finally out on the Newground. It's been a long time since we release a game here. We would like to thank for everyone who's been supporting us along the way.

The story behind Monkey King! is about Monkey King and Sanzang going on a journey to take back Sanzang's lottery ticket from the King of Demon Bull. The Demon Bull's minions ambush them. Monkey King, with his mighty Golden Staff, stands against the heat from the deepest valley of hell and smashes evil in its very face.

Game Instructions:
P = Pause
Space bar=Boom Kill!

The game has Easy and Hard difficulty modes.

Click to kill one enemy at a time and draw lines with the mouse to attack multiple enemies with the stick. The aura around the Monk will only protect you for 3 attacks. When the bottle is full enough, press Spacebar for a Boom Kill, but this uses 1/3 of the bottle and you need to fill up the bottle to draw out the boss!

Hopefully everyone likes it.

Monkey King! released!

My team has been working since summer to deliver a major game project themed in siege battle of medieval age. The game's production is due around Dec. 7th, 2008.

The game is currently in its post-production stage and we are busy finalizing the audio aspect of the game. We need contribution from voice actors. There won't be any dialogue or reading involved, but instead we are urgently looking for battle cry and scream type of voices that we cannot produce ourselves.

If you're willing to help us, please drop us a note and let us know what you would like to do.

Here is a list of voices we need for the game.

Male Human Battle Cry
Male Human Death scream
Female Elf Battle Cry
Female Elf Death Scream
Monster Battle Cry
Monster Death Scream

if you want to know what i mean by death sounds and battle cry kind of sounds, please check out the Warfare 1917 game on Armorgames, http://armorgames.com/play/2267/warfar e-1917
They set a pretty good example for warfare games.

Where is here? Oh... It occurred to me that Bodhisattva asked me to participate in a match called Journey to the West.Monk Sanzang is sent into a haunted place full of zombies. He's only chance is to run away as fast as he can and pray that he will be rescued.

As Sanzang begins his long Journey to the Chaos, we as developers also begin our new adventure.

Sanzang Run! is our first installment of the game series Journey to the Chaos. We've been planning this throughout the summer and it is finally here. Hope you guys will enjoy the journey. More installments are coming soon but I really can't guarantee when yet.

This game's fairly simple and it is still in its infancy. We just want to get the control and gameplay straight before adding more exciting features. The movement algorithm is at the core of this game and if anyone encounters any sort of bug, please let us know. Game feature suggestion will be more than welcome as well. Just feel free to share with us what you think.

Hope you all enjoy our game.

A simple and small game aimed for reviving the childhood memory of us playing the Rock Paper Scissors game and throwing the rock.

There are two parts of this game:
Part 1: Rock Paper Scissors
Z-Rock, X-Paper, C-Scissors

Part 2: Attack-defense
Q-Attack; A-Defend

The key of this game is to win Rock Paper Scissors first and then press Q or A with exact timing. If you hesitate, you will get beaten by the COM player. No early or late press. You must press Q and A as the key highlights on the screen. The timing is the key. If you press the key early, the player will not throw the rock. If you press too late, the COM player's defense will succeed. You got about 1/3~2/3 seconds to respond.

Hope you guys enjoy the game and please give me any feedbacks you may have.

"How are you now, dear children" is a short Sichuan Earthquake Relief Flash movie, in dedication to those victims of the tragedy. It was created exactly one month after the Earthquake.

As of June 23rd, 2008, 69,185 people are confirmed dead, 374,171 injured and 18,467 listed as missing. The earthquake left about 4.8 million people homeless.

We as Chinese Flashers, want to present you our work to remember these victims of this natural disaster and perhaps raise more awareness in the Western community about our troubled motherland. For peace, love and friendship, we ask everyone to take a few minutes off their busy lives to watch our movie and pray the best for all of the people involved in this disaster.

The movie was done in Chinese, and then we added English subtitles for the Western audience to understand the context. Enjoy.

Our most immediate goal is to reach out to as many people as possible, so please do not worry too much about our distribution rights, we really want as many people distributing this movie as possible.

The last but not the least, a big thank you for everyone who takes time to read this and watch our movie! Thank you!

Finally, my second submission on NG. I'm so excited.

This is basically an expansion of the old classic 3D Pong game. I added more levels and bosses to it. In addition to new graphics and sounds, it now has a Level-up (the green bar on the upper-left corner indicated exp) and a Power bar(down in the lower-right). Some characters will recur in the game with increased difficulty.

The control is primarily mouse. To play Power hits, you have to release and move in the same time.

The key to this game is to move off the center as little as you can(so you can recover quickly) and hit the ball to the opponent's open area. My personal suggestion is to play gently first, follow the opponent's moves and wait for an open opportunity. That'll pretty much get you to the level 5~8 without trouble.

The entire game has 16 bosses waiting for you.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this game.

My very first game is about a high schooler fighting through the chaos of the backstreet, cleaning up all the bosses and eventually become the king of the backstreet. The controls are fairly simple and you can purchase items from the shop to increase your power along the way. My graphic skills are limited so the graphics are only in the basic big-head style. The game has 3 difficulties (you can choose them from the Options) to make sure all players from all levels can enjoy it. I designed the game with the game size in mind so everything is kept in the simplest way possible to minimize the file size. Another thing is that the game may seem too slow and easy at the beginning but it will get challenging soon enough. Anyway, I hope all of you will enjoy my first submission on Newgrounds and have some fun. Enjoy!
